Priority: medium
Bug ID: 70836
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Line-break not working correctly when the
text is vertical
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.5 all versions
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description: When one selects
"Format->Character->Position->Rotation/Scaling->90 degrees", one would expect
that changing the line would let the user input text in a line exactly to the
right of the current one. Not so! As it currently is, pressing enter goes to
the start of the current line and starts entering text before it.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter text
2. Rotate text 90 degrees counterclockwise
(Format->Character->Position->Rotation/Scaling->90 degrees)
3. Press "enter" key
Current behavior: Program starts adding characters to the beginning of the
previous line.
Expected behavior: New line should start to the side of the current one.
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 3.5 all versions
