          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 70940
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: bullet list, cannot promote
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.2.3 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

On my installation, alt-shift-right_arrow or shift-tab do not promote a bullet
list. I can do it in outline with the arrow button but as soon as I switch to
outline again, the list is demoted to level 1.

steps to reproduce:

1. insert new slide
2. select one of the layout except the top left blank one
3. make a list and sublist
4. promote the sublist with alt-shift-right_arrow, nothing happens
5. switch to outline tab, use right arrow button to promote the sublist, OK
6. switch back to normal tab, list and sublist retains hierarchy
7. switch to outline tab, sublist is demoted right away

conclusion:
There is no reliable way to create a nesting list. It makes no sense to have
to create a nested list only in outline mode. Such editing function should be
in the Normal tab.
