Priority: medium
Bug ID: 71059
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Various formatting is not handled properly on
save/load of .xls made with Calc
Severity: trivial
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.2.3 release
Component: Libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
Category: Nuisance/cosmetic bugs.
1: I have a file with multiple sheets where I prefer to toggle the grid off. If
I limit myself to three sheets with that state, the state will usually persist
correctly when I reload the file after having saved it. If I toggle off more
than three sheets, I will usually have some of them toggled on on reload.
Sometimes, it will load correctly, but that may be when the grid toggling has
been the only change (I actually just confirmed that).
2: Likewise the status of ?splits? (where you can scroll part of the sheet,
while having the other part remain stationary) will not be saved/reloaded
correctly. It seems like the "problem" behaves like the toggle grid status.
3: Sometimes the row heights will be reset to default for some rows containing
large test, even if the height was correct when the file saved.
4: Double strikeout is saved/reloaded as single strikeout. This has been
persistent behaviour for at least the last two years.
The .xls file was made with Calc, and has always been opened with Calc. I have
no idea if the problems persists if the file is saved in any other formats.
The offending file has not been enclosed, as it contains some info I consider
personal. It can be made available upon request.
The "problems" are not new to 4.1.2.3.
