A screenshot illustrating the problem described above.
Problem description:
Using the NUMBERVALUE function without the optional parameters returns an
error.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an instance of Calc and launch the Function Wizard.
2. Double-click the NUMBERVALUE function to select it, and enter a text value
in the 'text' input box.
3. Do not enter either of the two optional input parameters and press 'OK'
Current behavior:
Returns a #VALUE! error.
Expected behavior:
That the correct value is returned.
Open another instance of the function and enter the same text value, but this
time enter the two optional parameters and the correct value is returned.
The text in the function wizard describing these parameters as 'optional' needs
to be changed to read 'required'. There is no Help file for this function.
The specification here;
http://docs.oasis-open.org/office/v1.2/cs01/OpenDocument-v1.2-cs01-part2.html#NUMBERVALUE
shows the two parameters as optional.
Operating System: Windows XP
