Repro:
- Open LibreOffice
- Type "Hello, world!"
- Navigate: File -> Send -> Create Master Document
- Save

I'm not sure how to reproduce this error.

That error message does sound very vague.

That may be why I can't repro this bug :-)

What version of LO were you using to test? Please try testing with a current
stable build here:
