          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 72121
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: losing formula while merging cells
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.5.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

When trying to merge two cells that are in two different rows
-if there is a formula that gives a numeric result on the below cell, and the
top cell is empty, then the merging keeps the numeric result and loses the
formula.
While in the opposite case, that the top cell has a formula and is merged with
the bottom cell, then the formula remains.

I would expect the formula to remain in both cases
