          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 72408
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: ACCESSIBILITY: Text areas in LibreOffice dialogs makes
VoiceOver restart it self over and over
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.2.3 release
         Component: UI
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
When you use VoiceOver with LibreOffice and open a dialog that contains a text
field (with text) it will make VoiceOver "crash" and restart it self in an
endless loop until you step away from the text field. Empty text fields seems
to work ok. Accessibility Inspector seems to work ok with the text fields and
reports them with the role AXTextArea. Other programs seem to use AXTextField
which LibreOffice Accessibility does not have an equivalent for (at least not
to my knowledge). Interestingly Combo boxes text area part does not show the
same symptoms.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Writer on a Mac
2. Start VoiceOver
3. Go to File -> Properties
4. Open the Description tab and type something in one of the text fields
5. Step away from the text field and then back again

Current behavior:
VoiceOver restarts it self

Expected behavior:
VoiceOver announces the control and then the text you entered.

Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.1.2.3 release
