          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 72470
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: EDITING: Calc freezes when typing Chinese characters
                    following non-Chinese strings
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA PossibleRegression
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.0.0.beta2
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
When typing into a cell Chinese chars following non-Chinese strings, calc
freezes immediately.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start calc;
2. Type "abc" in A1, hit ENTER;
3. Type "中国" (which means "China" in Chinese) in A2, hit ENTER;
4. Type "abc中国" in A3, hit ENTER.

Current behavior:
Calc freezes immediately in step 4.
Same issue when disable spell check.
Same issue when change UI language.

Expected behavior:
Calc should not freeze.

Ubuntu 13.10 x86, LibrOffice 4.2.0.0 beta 2, system locale: en_US.
No such behavior in 4.1.3.2 release, so may be a regression.

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.0.0.beta2
Last worked in: 4.1.3.2 release
