--- Comment #4 from [email protected] --- Just ran into the exact same problem here: CMIS connections to Alfresco 4 will not work using https, error message is 'The specified device is invalid.' Tried to investigate a bit further, here is what I found: - commandline curl will download RepositoryService?wsdl xml file fine (now that I installed the correct CA cert) - tcpdump shows no connection attempt to alfresco server as soon as I specify https - Libreoffice will ask for credentials but then display the error message dialog immediately.
