I have tried adding unquoted text; adding quoted text; editing the German quoted text; moving the German quotation marks to other text. No matter what I do the comment remains as expected (except under v3.3.0.4 as previously mentioned). Because I do a fair amount of testing I tend to have a new profile. This would seem to me to be a profile-related error, which are /very/ common and resolved by a profile reset, as Joel has mentioned.
