Kumāra <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #2 from Kumāra <[email protected]> --- I can now confirm that it's not a bug in LO. The lost is due to registrymodifications.xcu disappearing, and LO has to generate a new one, without the old info of course. I'm suspecting the cause to be a OS-hardware combo fault. (I'm probably creating a new term here.) Files that are written (or perhaps just loaded into memory) at the point of power failure are subject to potential corruption or lost. The same has happen before to files of other programs. However, some of them create backups on their own. (One of them makes 5!) Thus recovery is possible and easy. So, perhaps I should resubmit another "bug", but label it as enhancement: Automatic backup for registrymodifications.xcu. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
