Problem description: Always get error 1901
Steps to reproduce:
1. download the *.msi
2. install
Current behavior: After a 'copying files' step, I'm getting error 1901:
“Error attempting to read from the source installation database:
C:\Windows\Installer\[…].msi
When I check, the directory C:\Windows\Installer doesn’t exist. Various
solutions on the web, but none are working.
Expected behavior: a clean install
I've disabled Vipre and SuperAntiSpyware. Still no luck.
FWIW, two additional observations.
When it failed, I lost the previous installation of 4.1.3.2 -- I had no access
to LOO at all.This included my jumplists from the taskbar icons. Those were
the main reason I switched from AOO, because of my daily workflow.
I was just able to reinstall 4.1.3.2, no problems, from an old *.msi file from
November.
