Put another way, with a Range from row 2 to row 1048576, the conditions are clearly the same and there's no need to end up with multiple rules for different ranges that have identical conditions. If the two columns have different content, one has text the other numbers, it then requires two copy/paste only steps, one for text and one for number. Using Paste Special, and limiting the characteristics to only Text and Numbers, there's even more steps, one to untick the default "Paste All" and a second click to select Numbers and 5 more clicks to untick the other options (format, formula, etc.). My point is that copy/paste of cell contents within a single range should not create multiple rules, especially when the Rule box/window is not re-sizable. I'm quite sure that this 'problem' did not exist in LO v3.x.x and only emerged in v 4.x.x -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
