          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 73658
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: VIEWING: Page zoom, page preview and correct cell
                    wrapping
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

As far as I know this has always been a problem which I have manually managed
but would be good if could be sorted.

Current Version: 4.1.4.2
Build ID: 0a0440ccc0227ad9829de5f46be37cfb6edcf72

Problem description: When wrapping is applied to cells different results are
given at different page zoom whilst editing. I work at 75% for ease of seeing
all data, I want to see what is in cells (text strings). When going to page
preview and export as pdf/print cells have often over wrapped leaving
unnecessary spaces around text. Have to clear and reapply direct formatting to
entire sheet at 100% zoom to get something close then use page preview again to
identify individual rows that need height adjusting manually - those that have
one word that just tips the cell into an extra line on the edit will often not
form a new line in page preview and/or export pdf/print.

I see this as a problem with the way the text and cells scale at different
rates. If it is a limitation some how on set font sizes to display perhaps the
zoomable steps should only move in sync with this to preserve document
fidelity. This isn't a problem when zooming in page preview as the 'image'
scales proportionally.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Apply text wrapping to cells.
2. Add text/data longer than is visible in cell so it wraps with one word just
pushing it over into new line.
3. Zoom in and out of edit view and use page preview.

Current behavior: Wrapping changes at different zooms and when flicking to page
preview or straight to export pdf/print. Have to do all above to identify rows
that haven't wrapped correctly to then manually edit row height for final
version. Sometimes to get it right for export pdf/print will mean it won't wrap
correctly in edit view or page preview.

Expected behavior: Once wrapped at any zoom in edit view I'd expect it to
remain the same at all other zooms, page preview, export pdf & print.
***I'd also expect it to 'backwards wrap' - reduce the cell size if text/data
is removed.
