Summary: check for updates doesn't work if java not set
Severity: minor
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: NEW
Version: 4.2.0.2 rc
Component: Libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
Hi Everyone,
by selecting help menu -> check for updates before setting the java environment
- for the first time - in Tools menu -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Advanced ->
Java Option yields an exception error and not a simple message that ask to set
java before.
After setting Java (e.g. 1.7.0 update 45 (win32 and win64/AMD64) installed and
the first one (win32) well configured in LibreOffice Advanced key (and already
restarted to consolidate the configuration), the update checking works fine as
usually.
The tested environment was Microsoft Windows 7, AMD64, Ultimate, SP1, updated,
LibreOffice, win32, 4.2.0.2 (RC2).
Have a nice weekend,
Carlo
