The format displayed in the tooltip is x-axis format not the data point format.
The format of the column is month day year but the tooltip just displays month
year (the format of the x-axis).
The attached spreadsheet/chart displays "Data Point 1, data series 1, values:
Jan 2014 1" when hovering over the first data point.
It should display the format of the original data "Data Point 1, data series 1,
values: Jan 1, 2014 1"
