          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 74049
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Writer adds [ before a range on which you set a
                    comment
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.4.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Steps to reproduce:
1/ open a new empty document
2/ type some random text
3/ move the cursor in the text and click one of the buttons Bullets or
Numbering
4/ select part of the text including the first character, then insert a comment
by ctrl+alt+C

Current behavior: as expected the comment is inserted, the selected range is
highlighted. But you see the character [ in front of the range.
The problem does not occur in the following cases:
a/ the range starts after the first character
b/ the range does not belong to a numbering paragraph.

Reported for versions 4.1.4.2 and 4.2.0.3.0+

Best regards. JBF
