Priority: medium
Bug ID: 74131
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Other: Template manager folder hierarchy is
unnecessarily complex
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
Component: UI
Product: LibreOffice
Right now, the template manager shows empty folders as well as folders within
folders, and it shows the same ones for every template category. This can make
it very easy to get lost in the template hierarchy.
It would be much nicer if the template manager was restricted to a single
folder hierarchy and showed only folders that contained templates, akin to the
iCloud file system [1] and as outlined by the original design [2].
