Normal, I had not save the database. That is pretty much a design choice in the embedding of Firebird in LibreOffice. You need to save the odb file, that's when the data is saved in it, just like *every* other file in LibbreOffice and most other applications (except, well, embedded HSQLDB in LibreOffice).
