--- Comment #2 from Ryo Furue <[email protected]> --- Thanks for your response. > Does LibreOffice crash on any DOCX file, or just with one particular file? Just one particular file. But, I have had to handle only two DOCX files after downloading the latest version of LibreOffice and one of them always crashes LibreOffice and the other file opens correctly. :-) (I upgraded from 4.0.x because the offeding file crashed it.) > Re: attaching your example file, please consider sanitizing the file using > these instructions: > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Sanitizing_Files_Before_Submission Thanks. I read the document at the URL but realized that's not my problem. I can't post the file on a public server, not because it contains my personal information, but because of a copyright problem. It's a part of an unpublished academic manuscript and the publisher wouldn't like it if it's publicly available. It's highly, hightly, highly unlikely that there would be any material problems even if it became publicly available, because there would be absolutely no monetary gain if one obtained a copy of it; actually, there are a lot of careless academics in my field who post unpublished manuscripts on public servers, which you can search Google for and download. Our publishers are very lenient, too. Nevertheless, just in case, I don't like to post the file in question to a public place. > If you can't reproduce the problem with a sanitized file, let us know, and > we'll arrange for you to email the original file to the QA Team directly. I'd like this option. Regards, Ryo -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
