--- Comment #2 from Ryo Furue <[email protected]> ---
Thanks for your response.

> Does LibreOffice crash on any DOCX file, or just with one particular file?

Just one particular file. But, I have had to handle only two DOCX
files after downloading the latest version of LibreOffice and one of
them always crashes LibreOffice and the other file opens correctly.
:-) (I upgraded from 4.0.x because the offeding file crashed it.)

Thanks. I read the document at the URL but realized that's not my
problem. I can't post the file on a public server, not because it
contains my personal information, but because of a copyright problem.

It's a part of an unpublished academic manuscript and the publisher
wouldn't like it if it's publicly available. It's highly, hightly,
highly unlikely that there would be any material problems even if it
became publicly available, because there would be absolutely no
monetary gain if one obtained a copy of it; actually, there are a lot
of careless academics in my field who post unpublished manuscripts on
public servers, which you can search Google for and download. Our
publishers are very lenient, too. Nevertheless, just in case, I don't
like to post the file in question to a public place.

I'd like this option.

Regards,
Ryo
