you are absolutely right and im sorry for that.

the point is i wanted to quickly send two bugs of libre office and as stated on
the homepage the assistant is the easy and best way and first choice for
submitting bugs.

and then: nothing works and i really got pissed of.

so thinking of it again and answering your question - my suggestion what should
be done is: remove the assistant from the webpage as long as it is THAT buggy.

the userface is really good and much more userfriendly as bugzilla, but you
should keep in mind, that the libre office homepage is not made for developers
(like a wiki or bugzilla is). The website (and the bugtracker on the website)
is used by normal users. the website is, what is shown to the public. thats
neither a good publicity for libre office nor for the whole open source scene.

so once again: take it offline. fix the biggest problems and bring it back
online as soon as it is what it should be: an assistant thats helpfull instead
of annoying.
