Priority: medium
Bug ID: 75152
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING Using mouse to point to cell references does
not work
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
This bug only occurs in a large spreadsheet I am using and unfortunately cannot
share. I am trying to reproduce in a test sheet but so far without luck.
When inserting a reference, "pointing" with the mouse only works on the current
sheet. If you select a different sheet and point with the mouse nothing appears
in the formula window. Pointing works normally, however, if there is already a
reference in the cell.
1) Open an empty cell for editing and enter "=";
2) select another worksheet;
3) click on the cell to reference with the mouse (pointing);
4) Note that no reference is added.
It works as follows:
1) as above;
2) click on a cell in the current worksheet to add its reference;
3) add an operator (e.g. "+");
4) select another worksheet;
5) click on the cell to reference;
6) the cell is no correctly added to the formula;
