Bug #: 45328
Summary: FILESAVE: freeze saving spreadsheet as html with
hidden columns
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.0 RC2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Problem description:
When saving any spreadsheet as html, after having a column hidden, libreoffice
calc freezes
Steps to reproduce:
1. create new spreadsheet
2. enter values in at least 3 cells in 3 different columns (they do not need to
be consecutive)
3. hide one column in between the outer most values (can be a column in which
values have been entered, but can also be an empty column)
4. save the file as "html (openoffice.org calc) .html"
Current behavior:
Libreoffice Calc freezes with 100% CPU usage on one core and as to be force
quit (either by taskmanager (windows) or by kill (linux)
Expected behavior:
Libreoffice saves the html table and one can continue working with it.
Platform (if different from the browser): Tested with Win7 x64 SP1 / WinXP x32
SP2 / Gentoo Linux x64
