Priority: medium
Bug ID: 75349
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: [UI] No animations/transitions shown in remote control
app
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: (See in Summary)
Component: Android Impress Remote
Product: LibreOffice
While bug 61982 made it possible to advance animation-by-animation, there's no
visual indication of this in the remote control app. The animation doesn't
appear on the thumbnail, and there's no other indication of what's going to
happen next, or did just happen when I clicked.
It is probably difficult to show visually what, precisely, the next animation
will be, in the limited screen real estate available.
Instead, you might try a timeline between the thumbnail and the notes which
shows progress as we advance through the animations for the current slide. This
gives both a visual indication that clicking did something (it would advance
the progress bar, even though the thumbnail didn't change), as well as a visual
indication of what will happen next (some sort of animation on the current
slide, rather than advancing to the next slide).
