          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 75377
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Spreadsheet program crashes or instantly
closes on pasting copied data from web page into a
                    cell
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
On Kubuntu 13.10
Spreadsheet program crashes or instantly closes on pasting copied data from web
page into a cell

Steps to reproduce:
1. copy data from web page table -
   http://www.oanda.com/currency/historical-rates/
2. select a cell on spreadsheet
3. paste (or ctrl-v) with special number detection

Current behavior:
Spreadsheet program crashes / instantly closes
but not in every instance. Happens 1 in 10 times, but sometimes seems to be
more frequent. I cannot determine the exact preconditions for the crash, but
suspect it depends on the content of the paste buffer. It happens whether the
cell was empty or not.

Expected behavior:
Cell comes to contain pasted data and spreadsheet program is still running.

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
