You fix a ton of bugs (EXCEPT ENVELOPE BUGS), so a new release is always met with bit of joy. (A software project that "actually" fixes bugs -- who would have though.) I download from your standard download page. (My customer use both the Linux 64 bit and Windows versions so I carry them both on flash drive to install when I see them.) So I am sticking with the "repositories". If these are meant to remove prior versions as you implied ("you'll never face this problem"), then we should move this back to a "bug" and not an enhancement. My complaint was not with x.x.0 upgrades, which you actually do upgrade, it is with the x.0.0 and 0.0.0 upgrades. 3 to 4 was a real pain in the neck. As far as "chatter", be glad I caught it before your user's hard drive fill up.
