Blank cells rendering as 'Zero' is a different issue-- bug 74441

Just to be sure, when you launch LibreOffice 4.2.2.1 with IAccessible2 set
active, and AT in use, as the program comes up do you hear AT respond with

Notably the Alt+O for Open File, Alt+E for Templates, Alt+D for Create Writer
Document, Alt+S for Calc Spreadsheet... etc.

Of if you mouse over or tab to the thumbnail view:

ThumbnailView
Click an icon to open a new document or a file dialog.

If you are not hearing the Alt+ accelerators announced, you are not in
IAccessible2 mode, and probably are in Java Access Bridge using the Java
Accessibility API. The spreadsheet cells will not announce substantive
content.
