Create separate columns for Year, Month and Day in columns A, B and C.  Enter
some values in all 3 columns - each set in a separate row, as follows.
2010 1 31
2010 2 28
In column D or E, enter =Date(A1, B1, C1) (for the first row)
Copy this Date formula to the second and subsequent rows.
Format the date column to display as: "d-mmm-yyyy"
The dates appear correctly; all valid...

Now save and close the spreadsheet.

Re-open the spreadsheet.
The dates are all wrong - mostly off by 4 years. Some off by 4 years and 1 day.

This happens to all my saved spreadsheets.
Now: Edit the date formula by deleting and inserting a comma: the date suddenly
appears correctly.

Graphs based on date column also display invalid dates.
