Priority: medium
Bug ID: 75801
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Calc: wrong visible text when inserting
document hyperlink into occupied cell.
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description: In Calc when inserting a document hyperlink into an
occupied cell using insert/hyperlink, the text box in the hyperlink window
defaults to "!!br0ken!! ( note the zero) and not the selected document path
!!br0ken!! is then inserted into required position in the calc cell (where it
is formatted correctly) and can then be selected to launch the document. As a
hyperlink its document path is correct but visible text is incorrect
The work around is, in the hyperlink window, to copy and paste the document
path from the path box to the text box and then apply and close. The path in
the text box is then inserted into the required position in the cell and works
correctly.
Where the Calc cell is empty the text box in the hyperlink window remains blank
but the correct visible text, namely the path of the selected document, is
inserted into the Calc cell and works correctly.
Also in Write the Hyperlink window text box has the same behaviour and result
as the empty Calc cell just mentioned.
Expected behavior:
The hyperlink window text box should default to the path of the selected
document and not !!br0ken!!.
In all cases the hyperlink window text box should default to the path of the
selected document.
Operating System: Windows XP
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
