Yesterday I posted that it was probably to do with not being logged in as a proper XP administrator - Today after creating and deleting profiles and other messing about., i discovered that a registry setting, set by TweakUIXP is definately causing this issue with the save export etc dialog box. In TweakUIXP, there is an option under 'Common Dialogs' called 'Remember Previously-used filenames' which when toggled OFF (removal of tick from box) causes the nuisance broken dialog box.
