--- Comment #2 from m.a.riosv <[email protected]> --- Then maybe the bug is in the help, no hash reference: https://help.libreoffice.org/scalc/SC_HID_FUNC_INFO?Language=en-US&System=WIN&Version=4.2#bm_id5369426 Forgive me, but I think the functions are there to be used by the final users of calc, and if possible make easier their life. I can't image what a user can do with the hash, and I don't see a developer going to calc and using this function to know it. It could be very useful if it gives a manageable value, so you can know in which program you are working on with the spreadsheet, at least how is defined in the help. This lets for example set up some cells with a right content to make the spreadsheet more independent from app in which is running, like set up in a cell the wildcards to use, not equal in all apps; inform the user about some incompatibility with the version, no possible to run in this version, etc. I think Basic is not a true solution because it isn't compatible with other apps. Sorry, but I can't figure e.g. the hash instead the version in download page? If the agreement is won't fix, it's fine, I have renounce to use this function time ago, what it's not fine, but please don't resolve as not a bug, what IMO it isn't. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
