--- Comment #3 from A (Andy) <[email protected]> ---
@JBF: I can reproduce it also with a new file, but only once or under specific
conditions.

Case 1 (Works apparently only once):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new document in WRITER
2. Go to TOOLS -> LANGUAGE -> FOR ALL TEXT -> ENGLISH (USA)
3. Go to INSERT -> FIELDS -> DATE
4. Press the Space key and type "test" and press again the Space key
-> Result: "test" changes to "Test"

5. Press the Enter key
6. Go to INSERT -> FIELDS -> DATE
7. Press the Space key and type "test" and press again the Space key
-> Result: "test" stays "test"
It also does not change if you enter it directly after the first entry without
pressing the Enter key.

Case 2 ("Strange" specific conditions)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new document in WRITER
2. Press the Enter key several times
3. Go to TOOLS -> LANGUAGE -> FOR ALL TEXT -> ENGLISH (USA)
4. Go to INSERT -> FIELDS -> DATE
5. Press the Space key and type "test" and press again the Space key
-> Result: "test" changes to "Test"

6. Press the Enter key
7. Go to INSERT -> FIELDS -> DATE
8. Press the Space key and type "test" and press again the Space key
-> Result: "test" stays "test"

9. Go up above the line of the first entry
10. Go to INSERT -> FIELDS -> DATE
11. Press the Space key and type "test" and press again the Space key
-> Result: "test" changes to "Test"

12. Go up further and try it again and "test" will change again to "Test"
