          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 76959
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: Storing lockfiles in /tmp
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.3.2 rc
         Component: Libreoffice
           Product: LibreOffice

If I'm opening any file with an LibreOffice application it will create a
lockfile in the same directory in the format of .~lock.filename#. But because
I'm always showing hidden files with my file manager it gets annoying if all
files are moving one to right/left especially if I'm navigating fast with the
file manager directly after opening/closing a document.

Maybe LibreOffice can store all lockfiles in /tmp. But this would also require
to hide the filename from the lockfile for security reasons as we are not in a
trusted directory anymore.
