Priority: medium
Bug ID: 77138
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILEOPEN - Calc link auto-update interval is changed
after reopen
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.2.1 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Reproducible with LO 4.2.0.4 or 4.2.2.1 under Win7x64.
Not reproducible with LO 4.1.5.3, where this bug does not exist.
I use Czech Republic version. I apology for wrong english labels of buttons and
etc. I translate my Czech labels (names) to English.
I have two .ODS files (LibreOffice Calc). First file define data area. Second
file is linked to defined data area. I set auto-update of link to update every
X seconds. I save and reopen the second file. Then link auto-update is set to
every X thousand times seconds.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new spreadsheet.
2. Put some data into cells.
3. Select range of cells with data.
4. Data->Define area...
5. Fill name of data (For example: test) area and press button Add and OK.
6. Save as fileA.ods.
7. Create a new spreadsheet.
8. Insert->Link to external data...
9. Pick URL of fileA.ods.
10. Choose "test" from list of tables/areas
11. Check "Update every" and fill 8 (seconds)
12. Confirm by button OK.
13. Save as fileB.ods.
14. Close fileB.ods and open again.
15. Confirm Yes. (or No, it should not be important)
16. Edit->Links...
17. Click button Edit...
18. Filled count of seconds is thousand-times bigger now.
Expected: Updating data every 8 seconds.
Actual: Updating data every 8000 seconds.
