          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 77318
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Displaying the conditional formatting UI dialog is
slow when working on big ranges of cells
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.2.1 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

I imported a big CSV file (12 columns ~36000 lines)

I want to create conditional formatting rules for the whole range of cells. So
I select it using the left upper corner.

The I choose "Format->Conditional Formatting->Condition..." and then the UI
takes ages to show up.

I think I know why : the text content of all the selected cells in the range is
concatenated to create the "example" text.

Workaround : select only one cell before showing the conditional formatting
dialog and change the range manually using the control at the bottom.
