             Bug #: 45632
Summary: FORMATTING Visually indicate when fonts are
                    substituted
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.4.5 release
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

If a document is created on a machine which has an uncommon font (Parchment,
for example) and is viewed on a system without that font, naturally an existing
font is substituted. Silently, unfortunately.

Could there be some visual indication (maybe in the Status Bar) that font
substitution has occurred? A dialog box could show what's been substituted.

Thanks
