Impress does not seem to be avare of the immediate background, while Font color
is set to Automatic:
Sometimes text and/or bullets font color is reset to automatic on reopen. If
there is an object between the text and the background of the master, the font
does not consider it. If there is a black object over the white background, the
automatic font color is set to black, which renders the text invisible there.
