An .odt is just a splitted and zipped version of .fdot and they probably use the same code for parsing. For illustration purposes, a .fodt is easier to handle. I tested it against the Relax-NG schema of the specification. It passes and LibreOffice should be able to handle it correctly. It just seems that this part of the specification is unimplemented.
