Priority: medium
Bug ID: 77909
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Standard button does not reset the style, formatting,
ui
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
In the style dialog for paragraph styles in Writer, in the tab Organizer, there
is a button labeled Standard, which the documentation says will reset this
style to match its parent. For a style with a parent (which is named in the
dialog's Linked with field), on click of the Standard button there is no
feedback or apparent change. Then on click of Apply button, the Contains list
is cleared as expected, though in the document which can be seen behind the
dialog, no changes occur. On click Ok, the dialog box is closed, and no changes
occur in the document even though the cleared Contains list implies such
changes. On reopen the dialog, the Contains list for the style is as it was
before the attempt to reset it with the Standard button.
In short, the Standard button does not do anything.
