Priority: medium
Bug ID: 77995
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Other: Enlarging array formula does not apply unless
formula is edited.
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.3.3 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When enlarging the array size of an array formula (or trying to convert a
regular formula into an array formula), no array is created unless the formula
is edited.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Mark a few cells in Calc.
2. Press F2.
3. Enter "=munit(4)".
4. Mark a set of cells which covers the previously marked cells, starting from
the cell where you entered the formula.
5. Press F2.
6. Press cmd+shift+enter to see that nothing happens.
7. Do steps 1 to 5 again.
8. Press backspace and then retype ).
9. Press cmd+shift+enter to see that the array is now larger.
Current behavior:
Marking a set of cells which covers an existing array or formula, pressing F2
followed by cmd+shift+enter, does not enlarge the array. Nothing happens
instead. For the enlargement to have effect, I have to edit the formula by for
example removing the trailing ")" and retyping it again.
Expected behavior:
Marking a set of cells which covers an existing array or formula, pressing F2
followed by cmd+shift+enter, was expected to enlarge the array without having
to edit the formula.
Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.2.3.3 release
