Priority: medium
Bug ID: 78001
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Web: "Format > Page" loops pegging CPU
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
I first noticed this when I was trying to reproduce bug 77242. That
bug is fixed, but this problem persists.
As I noted in that bug report, LO version bibisect 42-all newest fails
differently, so I am setting whiteboard NotBibisectable.
STR:
(1) Run LibreOffice with parameter --web. Program presents window
"Untitled 1 ... Writer/Web ...".
(2) Take menu options Format > Page. Program draws frame of dialog
"Page Style HTML" and then loops, pegging the CPU for minutes; in
one an earlier occurrence I waited half an hour before cancelling
the program.
These observations are from master commit b087564f, fetched 2014-04-26
01:12 UTC, configured:
--enable-option-checking=fatal
--enable-dbgutil
--enable-crashdump
--without-system-postgresql
--without-myspell-dicts
--with-extra-buildid
--without-doxygen
--with-external-tar=/home/terry/lo_hacking/git/src
built and running on debian-wheezy 64-bit.
