Screenshot of Line Formatting dialog box and memory usage from System Monitor

System: Ubuntu 14.04 x64

Problem description:

Many times the LO Draw dialog boxes don't display their contents properly. The
boxes open but without content and instead are blank. This happens for both
modal dialog boxes and toolbar pull downs such as for formatting line type or
area colors. I can use the mouse to arrow down to the item I want to set, so
they are still functional, but without the components of the box or pull down
visible.

Seems to happen when I have lots of LO files open. Only the Draw displays this
behavior, whereas Writer and Calc dialogs work properly. Even when all files
are opened at the same time and using lots of memory.

If I close some files to free memory the Draw dialog boxes paint again.

I tried setting the Java memory allocation to use more memory, but this didn't
help.

This has been around for a long time, over a year, but it seems particularly
bad this release.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open many LO files (Draw, Writer Calc)
2. On my computer it requires about 150MB total memory usage by LO
3. On the Draw file, click on a text element to select it
4. Right mouse click over the text element and click Line... to format it

Current behavior:
Dialog box appears but is not painted correctly

Expected behavior:
Dialog content should be painted

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.3.3 release
