This seems to finally convince it that you don't want a salad of Style boxes open all over your desktop. This also seems to have "convinced" it even after fully closing. Somehow, this wasn't an obvious solution to me, as I have suffered with the behavior for more than a year (I don't remember precisely, but at some point, LibreOffice started randomly raising any window that got focus, ignoring the windowing manager, which very quickly made this a real problem.)
