Problem description:
Cannot enter the proper help topic to get a result that matches it. I realize
that this program is rather complex, but very seldom am I able to find the help
I need by typing my subject in.

Footer problems related to start pages or not. The program doesn't react the
same way every time that the bug appears. Try to add a footer with title and
page number without it showing up on start pages by doing it the logical way
produces a footer with title and page numbers anyway even if the proper boxes
are checked to indicate the number of start pages and how the numbers should be
when page numbering begins. I worked with it for over an hour trying to make it
do what I needed. When I finally decided to remove the footer altogether, it
showed up anyway almost the way I was trying to create it in the first place.
But then when I attempted to add a colored background to the footer, it gave me
a whole page of colored background including putting it in the footer.

I created a table of contents by using the Indexes and Tables function, but the
font didn't match the rest of my document. When I highlighted it and attempted
to change the font, the font editing functions became inactive and when I
attempted to delete the table of contents, the program informed me that I could
not modify read-only content. It was never read-only content previously. The
only way that I could eliminate the terrible looking table of contents was to
create a new document and copy the rest of the content other than the table of
contents into it, delete the original document and then save the new document.
And, of course, in the process of copy and paste, the program left out some of
my formatting so I had to go back through my entire 70 page document to check
for more errors.

If I never have to modify a basic document, then this program is fine to use;
however, if any custom formatting is needed, other than indents, spacing and
tabs, then I know I am always going to be in for an adventure that I simply
don't have time for.

Steps to reproduce:

The program is so unpredictable that telling you the steps it takes to
reproduce the bug is irrelevant because it doesn't react logically. It can
produced in so many different ways at different times that it's impossible to
even provide you with accurate bug reporting.

Current behavior:

In one respect, I admire those of you who are active in making this program,
but on the other hand, if you can't do it right, then why bother?

Expected behavior:

I expect the program to function the way it's supposed to, but it doesn't. Oh
well, you get what you pay for.
