Impress slideshow with problem

I have a slideshow with a slide that

- has text on the left
- several bitmaps on the right
- one bitmap that, at the end, covers the text on the left.

Custom animation is defined such that

- the text builds up line by line;
- the bitmaps on the right build up graph by graph

Problem 1: when the bitmaps appear on the right, one can already see how one
line of text is plotted again on the left (as the font gets a little bit
thicker from overplotting)

- then the bitmap on the left appears, covering the text
- then another bitmap on the right appears, and

Problem 2: WITH THAT, the line of text on the left AGAIN appears and goes on
top of the graph, which it shouldn't

Solution, I now have to make the graph, which is supposed to be covered, appear
3 times so that it doesn't get overplotted. See the attachment. If you let it
run, this is what it should look like, but not how I have to make Bitmap 8
appear 3 times.

OS: Mint 12 KDE
