Even on Windows XP when you have a piece of software that tries to do clever things with the screen ( Like Sibelius ) it causes Smartboard to have problems as they all seem to fight about who owns the display Bug 34531 is the more interesting one as that bug is a show stopper. This is just a pain as it only seems to effect KDE. I hate Gnome but it works.
