I checked it in following procedure: 1.Open new spreadsheet. 2.Draw an object.(ex.Rectangle) 3.Press F2 key.(then you can enter text in the object) 4.Click Format - Character. 5.Check Font tab, you can see that -Western text font:12pt -Asian text font :24pt OS: Windows 7 32bit Version: 4.2.4.2 Build ID: 63150712c6d317d27ce2db16eb94c2f3d7b699f8 UI language: Japanese I don't know whether the behavior depends on UI language you use.
