[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #10 from [email protected] --- Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here is the information you requested: User interface: Default English USA Locale: English Canada Date Acceptance Pattern DD/MM/YY Under my old profile an entry 23/5 appears in the cell as text 23/5 With a brand new profile entering 23/5 appears in the cell as a date but with the wrong year 23/5/15 New profile entry of 23/5/ appears a a date with the correct year 23/5/14 Upon further investigation it appears the Date Acceptance pattern has an effect on this problem. Using a new profile I noted that the default date acceptance patterns with the UI and Locale as noted above are: Y-M-D; M-D; M/D.Y; M/D. To these I added my desired pattern of DD/MM/YY and got the results as shown above. However, if I removed the default patterns and only used DD/MM/YY then I got 23/5 (no year) when I entered 23/5. I looked up the format for that cell and it showed as a date (DD/MM/YY). If I entered 23/5/ I got 23/5/14 with the same formatting as the previous example. As previous noted in version 3.6.6.2 and earlier, an entry of 23/5 would automatically fill in the year and appear as 23/5/14. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
