The font is called "OpenSymbol" (the file name is opens___.ttf). This font
should come bundled with LO. So the first step is to check whether you have
this font installed.

Sometimes wrong registry entries can also prevent a font loading, so you could
try to run some registry cleaner (like CCleaner). Uncheck all checks except the
fonts one, repair any found problems, and reboot.
