Setting to "English (USA)" allows calc to compute formulas again. The "Locale" setting doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter what keyboard layout is set. I wonder if the other reporters are also using non-USA user interfaces? Possible work around: 1. Set Tools>Options>Language Settings>Languages>User Interface is set to "English (USA)" 2. Close calc.
